Vatan Koc has been teaching since he first came to the United States.
He started as an assistant ballroom teacher to Walt Medicis at Syracuse University,
until he found his love to be Argentine Tango. His main influences are
Metin Yazir of Baila Tango and the fabulous Guillermina Quiroga.
His teaching style concentrates on developing strong lead and follow techniques
within the various steps for a clear understanding of the dance.
He has been teaching for Baila Tango since January 2000.
Elizabeth Yormick has enjoyed extensively studying and teaching
many forms of dance over the last 12 years before settling on
two of her favorite forms- Middle Eastern and Argentine Tango.
Elizabeth and Vatan have been dancing and teaching together
since they started to tango in January 2000.
